My painting, Crux Jubilant, is in the collection of Geneva College, a gift to
the college from the late Dr. Edwin C. Clarke, Geneva's president (1956-80)
and his late wife, Agnes. It hangs on the south wall of the Buhl Reading
Room of McCartney Library, directly opposite the stained-glass windows
on the north wall that show scenes from John Milton's 17th-century epic
Paradise Lost, thereby closing the story of Fall and Redemption.
The First Methodist Church of Hilton Head Island, SC, commissioned a
full scale giclee reproduction of Crux Jubilant for its prayer chapel.
My painting Unfurled, that serves as background for the individual slides, is
also a symbolic image on the Resurrection theme.
